Augments | Dragons Dogma Wiki (2024)

Augments in Dragon's Dogma are passive trait boosts that are purchasable with Discipline Points within Vocations, but transfer over when selecting a new vocation. This encourages experimenting with a variety of playstyles. Augments can provide a wide variety of benefits, increasing strength and defense to faster movement and improved spelllcasting.

How to Earn Augments

Augments are earned by leveling up your character's Vocation, completing quests, or as rewards for completing Bitterblack Isle. Vocationsare the classes that your character can specialize in, such as Fighter, Mage, or Assassin. As you level up your character through these Vocations, you will unlock new augments.

How to Equip Augments

Once you have earned an Augment, you can equip it by visiting an Inn.At the Inn, you can speak to an NPCsnamedFournivalto equip or change your augments. Augments can be swapped at any time, so feel free to experiement and see which ones work best for your playstyle.Up to 6 Augments may be equipped at once.

Dark ArisenAugments

In Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, fourteen augments were added to which can be obtained by Purification of cursed Bitterblack Items. Purification is a service offered by Olra in exchange for Rift Crystals to cleanse cursed, unusable artifacts to obtain helpful equipment and items. Players will learn about purifying cursed items in the questDousing the Blight

Vehemence Strength is increased by 10%. Fighter 8 6000 DP
Dexterity Enables you to clamber up cliffs and other terrain more quickly. Strider 2 700 DP
Endurance Increases your maximum stamina by 100. Strider 2 700 DP
Damping No recoil after firing your bow. Strider 3 1300 DP
Eminence Jumping attacks are more powerful. Strider 5 2200 DP
Grit Halves the recovery time when you run out of Stamina. Strider 5 2200 DP
Arm-Strength Halves the Stamina consumed when you cling to objects or climb terrain or monsters. Strider 7 4500 DP
Leg-Strength Renders you one rank lighter for purposes of moving. Strider 9 7000 DP
Equanimity While your health is critical, Magick is amplified by 1.2 times. Mage 2 700 DP
Intervention Reduces cumulative damage when you are debilitated by the Five Archmagicks Mage 2 700 DP
Apotropaism Magick Defense is increased by 30. Mage 4 1800 DP
Beatitude Healing Magick (Halidom, Anodyne, Jewel of Health) lasts 1.5 times longer. Mage 4 1800 DP
Perpetuation Enchantments last 30% longer. Mage 7 3500 DP
Attunement Magick Attack is increased by 10%. Mage 9 7000 DP
Inflection Halves the damage taken while preparing spells. Mage 9 7000 DP
Bastion Increases Defenses by 50. TheStatsscreen does not show this boost. Warrior 1 900 DP
Ferocity Increases damage dealt from yourCore Skillsby 10%. Warrior 3 1300 DP
Audacity Makes you harder to knock off your feet while charging an attack. Warrior 7 4500 DP
Temerity Halves the damage taken while charging an attack. Warrior 7 4500 DP
Impact Improves your ability to knock down opponents with physical attacks. Warrior 8 8000 DP
Clout Increases Strength by 20%. Warrior 9 10000 DP

Morbidity Increases cumulative damage to foes you debilitate with non-Archmagick attacks. Ranger 6 3500 DP
Trajectory Causes your arrows to fly 30% farther. Ranger 6 3500 DP
Precision Keeps your arrows from flying off mark when you loose them whilst in motion. Ranger 8 7000 DP

Autonomy When venturing forth alone, Strength & Magick are up 70% and Defenses & Magick Defenses are increased by 30. Assassin 9 8000 DP
Detection Expands one's field of vision, more easily revealing unknown areas of the map. Magick Archer 2 1000 DP
Potential Stamina limit is increased by 100. Magick Archer 2 1000 DP
Resilience Halves damage done from falling, though it still doesn't save you from death. Magick Archer 6 4000 DP
Allure Doubles the increase in your affinity when you give items to non-pawns. Magick Archer 8 7000 DP
Regeneration Causes your Health to slowly return with the passage of time. Magick Archer 8 7000 DP
Magnitude Increases the effect when you debilitate adversaries with the Five Archmagicks. Magick Archer 9 7500 DP

Hastens the speed with which you gather and mine items
