After a successful application and interview process, I am delighted to announce that I have accepted an offer to take part in ’s 4-week B.U.I.L.D programme. Not only would I be able to explore the world of commercial law by sitting in two practice areas, but also have the opportunity to explore the operations of the firm after its recent historic merger.I want to thank Danielle Fulhamand Aoífe O'Sullivan for a seamless and enjoyable interview process. I would also like to thank Alexandra Akinsfor the constant support and guidance throughout the process.

After a rigorous application season, I am so proud to announce that I have been accepted to take part in some exciting summer legal internships. Firstly, I’ll be working with Whitewill London as a Real Estate Legal Intern. This experience will allow me to explore my interests in the real estate industry through a legal perspective. Moving on, I am so delighted to take part in ’s social mobility programme as a LIFT intern. This programme will present me with an exciting opportunity to delve into the world of commercial law through exposure to several areas of the firm.

2023 has been a crazy year! For the longest time, I’ve always been told “stay in your own lane” and “focus on only one thing”. This advice has been the worst advice I’ve received this year. I’ve learnt to explore and engage in different activities and fields. I had to understand that I cannot be told “the world is your oyster” but be suffocated and confined to one single lane. If you or anyone you know has pushed themselves out of their comfort zone this year, I see you and I’m proud of you❤️This year I’ve seen myself……- Participate in a School Tour with Empowered By Vee where we visited 5 schools in 5 days impacting over 600 students 📚 - Attend and speak at the STEAM event hosted at the US Embassy in London 🦅👩🏽💼- Run 3 London Half Marathons after only having been running for a year 🏃🏽♀️🏅- Finish first year of law school with a first class grade👩🏽⚖️- Explore consulting and be selected to intern with as part of the Future Black Leaders Programme, s/o to Eno Mwamba and Nahom Fikadu for their guidance💙- Attend a 6-week summer programme at University of Cambridge learning about my non-law interests from cyber-security to politics ✨- Support Queen Mary University of London ‘s events team with planning July graduations👩🏽🎓- Be selected to feature in Powerlist Magazine as one of UK’s 150 Black Future Leaders 🏆 - Represent as a Brand Ambassador at my university ⭐️ - Learn to put myself out there and present workshops to sixthform students as part of my role as an Elevate Education Presenter👩🏽💻Thank you to everyone who has contributed to my growth this past year. I cannot wait to see what 2024 has in store💫
