I'm thrilled to share my journey in honing my advocacy skills through my debut in Moot Court Examination! Engaging in this setting provided me with invaluable experience in legal research, argumentation, and public speaking.Yesterday, I had the opportunity to present a case before Refilwe Seodi Raseroka concerning a land dispute. We tackled complex legal issues such as contracts, various forms of ownership, inheritance rights, and eviction. My co-counsel @lorato mosalsagae and I delved into whether verbal agreements could constitute contracts and debated whether the sole heir could be considered the rightful owner of the land in question, and if so, whether the conditions for eviction were met. We emphasized crucial principles, including whether eviction was justifiable despite potential unjust enrichment.Nevertheless, our respondents Amantle Moshashane and Boleng Mosimakoko maneuvered through legal intricacies to demonstrate the impermissibility of eviction. They shed light on numerous legal aspects throughout their arguments.Throughout the proceedings, we skillfully navigated legal complexities, presenting compelling arguments supported by relevant case law and precedents. Despite the challenges, the courtroom experience was immensely fulfilling, and I am grateful for the opportunity to advocate for our clients.I'm delighted to share that THE COURT WAS PLEASED.

I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Digital Marketing for Entrepreneurs from Young African Leadership Initiative! It was an informative journey. I have learnt developing strategies to create and distribute valuable content to attract and retain a target audience as well as learning how to leverage platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc., for brand promotion and engagement.Mastering the art of crafting effective email campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions was a fluid experience in the sense that there was an ease of transition from learning it. Overall, I have been equipped with a range of valuable skills and do check it out https://lnkd.in/euPWthU7Young African Leadership Initiative thank you for such an enlightening, instructive and edifying course.

I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: BCLP - UK Law 101. BCLP, or Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, is a multinational law firm headquartered in London, United Kingdom which offers a wide range of legal services. It was challenging yet fascinating. I acquired a set of skills such as verbal reasoning, legal analysis, commercial technology and drafting arguments and pleadings. I have also;-Completed a job simulation involving the commercial law team at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner.-Drafted a term sheet regarding a potential joint venture.-Advised a client in relation to risks in a commercial contract.-During informal settlement negotiations, drafted and provided oral arguments regarding a contract dispute with an IT service provider.-Drafted written legal arguments to commence an arbitration proceeding. It was such a pleasure to have participated in an intellectual exercise offered by BCLP. BCLP #BCLP

I just completed Bowmans South Africa's Commercial Law. In the simulation I: -Completed a commercial law job simulation for Bowmans which involved advising various hypothetical clients on complex commercial law topics. -Researched and drafted memos regarding a client exchanging assets for a loan and determined any risks or concerns related to the transfer of these assets. -Practised initiating a claim for a client, including preparing summons and determining jurisdiction. -Analysed a potential acquisition to determine legality and its effect on the market and provided advice to the client on potential negative public interest concerns. The sense of fulfillment after completing the course was simply exhilarating. #BOWMANSSOUTHAFRICACOMMERCIALLAW
