In today's world, technology has advanced so far that we can reach the moon, yet we remain powerless to save Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, who has been suffering in American prisons for 16 years. Dr. Aafia, a Pakistani neuroscientist, faces daily torture and inhumane treatment, but our leaders and nations do nothing to bring her home.The situation in Palestine is equally dire. For decades, our Palestinian brothers and sisters have endured relentless oppression and violence at the hands of Israel. Homes are destroyed, families are torn apart, and innocent lives are lost every day. Despite this, the 49 Muslim-majority countries, with all their resources and power, have not taken effective action to stop these atrocities.We must ask ourselves: How will we answer to Allah for our silence? Allah has blessed us with strength, knowledge, and resources. Yet, we remain silent in the face of such blatant injustice. We must raise our voices for Dr. Aafia Siddiqui and for the people of Palestine.It’s not just about Dr. Aafia and Palestine. Across the world, countless other oppressed people are suffering. From Kashmir to Yemen, Muslims are facing cruel injustices, and our response has been inadequate. We failed to take meaningful action for Kashmir, for Palestine, for Dr. Aafia, and for many others who suffer under cruel rule.Shame on us for our inaction.
