I am #thrilled to #announce that I have finished my first #internship as a medical representative at MACRO GROUP Pharmaceuticals.I have really learned a lot in this one-month journey, and it could be summarized as follows:1. Firstly, you should know the area you'll work in. Then, you should collect data about the doctors working in your area with the help of the community pharmacists there.2. Now, you should plan how to achieve either your monthly or quarterly (3-month) target by knowing whether your drug is used for chronic or seasonal disease and whether you're selling it in a closed system. All of those things should be taken into consideration, as they could affect your selling process and your target as well.3. To build a good relationship with the doctors, which requires outstanding communication skills in order to be able to promote your product, you should state the pharmacology of your drug to the doctors, and by telling them more details about your drug, the more convinced they become.4. Negotiation skills are extremely important in this job, as most of the time, in order to make a deal with a hospital, doctor, or pharmacy chain, there is something called a win-win situation. Therefore, the company should offer something to them in order to sell their product.5. In order to check for doctors' loyalty, here comes the role of the community pharmacists again, as they can help you know whether these doctors prescribe your drug or not.Note : The target begins when the pharmacy orders it from the distributors.6. There are well-known distributors where community pharmacies and hospitals can order your drug; however, chain pharmacies mostly have their own distributors.#top skills essential for this field are:#negotiation #communcation #presentation #confidence #selling#summerinternship#summer2023

In the last few years at Reckitt we have made a conscious decision to work closely with qualified pharmacists and continue to offer opportunities for pharmacists to join industry. Malahat Atta was part of the first cohort of Trainee Pharmacist's we bought into the business and also joined our first cohort of pharmacy graduates. She has shared her thoughts on what prompted her to join Reckitt and move into industry, as well as some advice for others! "I have always wanted to try different things and to get a variety of experiences in order to make an informed decision of where I can best add value. The industry sector, is a whole other universe in itself. My understanding of this was very little.Hence, when I applied for industry roles, I was hoping for something that went beyond the laboratory roles but included networking, travelling, and opportunities for expanding and exchanging knowledge e.g. conferences, webinars, seminars. As for joining Reckitt- I applied for my Foundation Year Training placement (6 months), as I wanted a unique experience. I had never heard of Reckitt before and this was the first time they had offered such as opportunity. However, I decided to just apply and the role mentioned Medical Affairs which seemed to be a very interesting area as it brings science and business together to achieve the goal of providing medical aid.Reckitt also has values which I align myself with and having grown up with their products, but not knowing that I might end up working for them one day, was a wonderful surprise. Additionally, my interview experience was very good as I was provided feedback at the different stages which is something I have never experienced before. I felt valued, cared for and appreciated right from the start and throughout my time as a Trainee Pharmacist. So, my advice to all pharmacists interested in industry and/or Reckitt:1. Dare to dream- there are so many opportunities to pick from. The world is your oyster.2. Continue to be ambitious and brave. And yes, you can do it!4. Please do your research to prepare as much as you can5. Be prepared to be amazed6. Reckitt is not just a company, it is truly a family. And be ready to experience the joy of of pink!7. Keep going and striving. What's meant for you, will always find you, no matter what!#reckitt #pharmacy #prereg #graduatescheme

Ladies and Gentlemen, I hereby present to you the latest Pharmacist in town.Pharm.Okenna David Ezenwanne. I made it in pharmacy school and now a graduate. What I really achieved in school: 1. Knowing who G-d is and what he wants me to accomplish.2. Pharmacy degree(B.Pharm)3. Copywriting and Marketing 4. Filtering bad people off and keeping my circle small.5. Learning more about healthcare practice. 6. Became more courageous and outspoken. Indeed the University was a light for me because G-d used that to teach me a lot of things. Now am into my next journey which is internship in a pharmaceutical/supplement industry. Heading there next.🎯💥🚀🚀Happy Induction to me. #pharmacy

Hey Connection👩⚕️Do you know use of LBL in Pharmaceutical Marketing?if no, let me explain📝The #LBL know as a #Leave_Behind_Literature is a important tool in pharma and medical devices marketing.Pharma #LBL or Leave Behind Literature are pamphlets that Medical Representatives provide or leave to doctors and healthcare professionals (HCPs) during their interaction, so that they can be referred any time for Product Literature. They serve as good reminders to doctors and health professionals about the product key features and qualities.🌟#LBL can be considered as supportive document with the Pharma Visual Aids. 🎯#LBL use to provide:1. Information dissemination2. Education and Awareness3. Reminder and Reinforcement4. Reference materialand many more. 🔬 Here I and Abdul Wahid as a Management Trainee intern at Azmash Health Care, we design few #LBL and #Reminder_card which help the Market Representative to grab attention of the Doctors and Healthcare Professionals.🌟This is one of the #LBL we make in this internship training 🌟Brand Name #NTAD#Pharmaceutical #marketing #education #pharma #healthcare #management #intern #patientcare #innovationinhealthcare #LBL #Medicaladvancement #training #managementtrainee
